PF14 Artist Snapshot: MTWThFSS Theatre Company presents “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon”

NOTE: PortFringe will be profiling PF14 Artists and their shows on this blog in the weeks leading up to the festival (June 24-29, 2014). The next snapshot is of MTWThFSS Theatre Company – an organization with a mission statement of “FUN”, and a returning audience favorite from PortFringe 2012 and 2013.

Artist: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Theatre Company (aka MTWThFSS Theater Co.)
Show: The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon
Description: The folks that brought you SEX aka Wieners and Boobs and Mr. Marmalade are back – and this time they tackle the dark side of Fairy Tales! The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is a madcap romp through the collected stories of the Brothers Grimm in the style of Shakespeare Abridged. Two warring narrators and a cast of wig-changing, cross-dressing, exhausted actors attempt to combine 209 common and obscure fairy tales into one impossibly complicated and absurd storyline. Expect the unexpected with MTWTFSS Theatre Company!

Tell us something we don’t know about you and your PortFringe show.

The chance to show Portland why funny things are fun and to put smiles on people’s faces. Also, checking out the other shows always makes our hearts happy. 🙂

Lobster or Steak? Discuss.

What kind of silly question is that… lobster on top of steak please!

Thanks, friends! Have a Spectacu(lathon?) run!
