A Company of Girls (Portland, ME)

#girltalk is written and performed by A Company of Girls Ambassadors (high-school aged girls who have been in the program for more than 2 years) and reflects, through their eyes and words, what it’s like being a girl in today’s complicated world.

A Company of Girls (ACOG) is an arts-based empowerment and leadership program that uses the arts as a tool for positive youth development, and works with girls to build self-esteem, and 21st century skills through mentorship and active engagement in creative expression.  Our mission is to strengthen and empower girls and their families and foster community through the arts.

This show is part of an exciting PortFringe “double feature” event, which means you will see two short performances in the same one-hour performance slot. #girltalk is paired with The Surreal Vetting of Martin Mann.
