Show Description: Across the nation there are attacks on reproductive healthcare. Join Lynne Schmidt and her poetry that intersects abortion care, the right to choose, and how sometimes access to safe and legal abortion is life saving.

Artist Description: Lynne Schmidt hails from Michigan, the anti choice capital of the nation. Their work explores themes of trauma, healing, and activism. Her poetry chapbooks have been a semi finalist for the 2022 Button Chapbook Contest, and won the 2021 The Poetry Question Chapbook Award, with their collection, SexyTime, and the 2020 New Women’s Voices Contest, with Dead Dog Poems.
