PORTFRINGE HONORED WITH PROCLAMATION FROM PORTLAND MAYOR

PortFringe was recognized during a Portland City Council meeting for “its outstanding contribution to the artistic creativity and diversity of Portland’s cultural community.” It noted the festival’s embodiment of the spirit of Fringe by prioritizing artistic innovation and experimentation over profits, its commitment to artists being paid for their work, and the unique viewing experience PortFringe provides to its audience.

We are honored and thrilled to see Fringe making waves in this fine city we call home. We look forward to many more years of fostering new, edgy, and experimental performance, and celebrating the imaginative and the weird with you!
