You can support PortFringe Artists and watch the 2021 Fringe-on-Film Festival Events, on-demand, on your own schedule, from June 20 through June 30 (on-demand period extended through July 7)! Q: Why are there so many Watch Party ticketing levels? How do I know which one to choose?
A: It’s up to you, but here’s some guidance from PortFringe: The ticket proceeds for each Festival event will be split equally among the three shows screening in that event. The base ticket price of $15.00 will provide $5.00 to each Artist from your ticket purchase. If you’re watching with friends or household partners, we recommend you consider the $25.00 ticket price to partially offset the fact you all would have required separate tickets for an in-person event – or better, still – the $50.00 I LOVE PORTFRINGE ticket is a big show of support for the incredible genre-defying work of the Artists.
Q: I have been a PortFringe volunteer in the past and have had the opportunity to see shows for free. Can I do that this year?
A: Thank you for your past work for PortFringe! Our volunteer needs are different for this year’s all-digital festival. If you’re a tech-savvy, Zoom-savvy, people-person and would like to be on the volunteer list, please contact us to see what the current needs are for volunteer help. You can also access the festival films during the On-Demand video rental period from June 20-30, on a Pay What You Decide basis.
Q: What happens if your technology fails/What happens if my technology fails during the Watch Party Event?
A: We hear you! That’s always a concern for us, too. We have built as much redundancy into our Watch Party Events as possible, with two co-hosts assigned to each event, each with a way to stream the films if the need arose. We will be providing our hosts with multiple streaming methods and some supplemental technology (hardware and software) to set up the best possible outcome. That said, we acknowledge there may be glitches of varying degrees — and after a year of living online, we are ready to be very flexible! If PortFringe is unable to fully stream the film event – or if your own technology fails and you aren’t able to see it – we will make arrangements for you to attend another Watch Party, or provide you with complimentary access for an On-Demand Video Rental.
Q: Will the Zoom Watch Parties include ASL interpretation or Closed Captioning options?
A: Yes. There will be live captioning for each of the Watch Party events.

Purchase a Ticket to a Fringe-on-Film Festival Event
Purchase your Watch Party tickets, VIP passes, and the PortFringe Binge pass by using our secure PayPal checkout below. Tickets for any Watch Party will remain on sale until just before the event begins, but space is limited so we encourage you to plan ahead (plus you’ll want to leave as much time as possible for your Zoom link to arrive (see below).
Log in to the Watch Party at the scheduled date and time
Your Zoom invitation link will be emailed to you on the date of your Watch Party event (no later than 90 minutes prior to show time). If you purchase a ticket within 15 minutes of show time, your Zoom link may be a bit delayed. Please try to plan ahead!
