We’re taking to the streets!!!

Get a sneak peek of PortFringe 2014 when local actors, puppeteers, musicians, and comedians take to the streets during the June 6th First Friday Art Walk.

With a portion of Congress Street closed to car traffic, and less than a month until the PortFringe theater festival begins, it’s a perfect chance for PortFringe artists and audiences to get a taste of what’s in store for them later this month!

The Art Walk will also coincide with the opening of the PortFringe box office. We are super-excited to announce a box office partnership with our friends and sponsors at Coffee By Design. Stay tuned for more details…

Look for us causing a ruckus near the intersection of Congress and Park Streets, outside Geno’s Rock Club, with:
“We Run the Ship” (Mohawk Arts Collective)
“Noted” (Caleb Andrews)
“Holler: An Appalachian Tragedy” (Sam Plattus)
“Portland Comedy Co-Op”
“Valeria Solanas at Matteawan” (Cauldron & Labrys Productions/Carolyn Gage)
“Intimate Letters” (Amaranth Productions)
“What I Remember About the Day I Forgot” (Kneading Collective)
“Bad Dog Wags Its Tails” (Seth Berner)
“We Are the Broken People” (Motivational Works of Art)
“Reflexions d’un Hedoniste Raleur: The Rantings of a Very Hungry Frenchman” (Israel Buffardi, pictured below)
