HOT LUNCH: An Immersive Middle School Dance/Carnival by Bare Portland

Bare Portland (Portland, ME)

Back by popular demand, but this time it’s hotter and lunchier. Plumb the depths of your 14-year-old psyche in this immersive theatrical experience. A carnival-style exploration of favorite/least favorite middle school past-times. Activities might include: Sex-ed, Pie your crush/bully/teacher/self in the face, D.A.R.E., and the presidential physical fitness awards. Probably a middle school dance.

Bare Portland is a performance collaborative focused on innovative performances in unique spaces. Their award-winning performance collaboration “The Yellow Wallpaper” was a part of 2017’s PortFringe Festival winning the peer choice, volunteer choice, #thisisfringe, and tech-tacular spectacular awards.

This show is part of an exciting PortFringe “double feature” event, which means you will see two short performances in the same one-hour performance slot. HOT LUNCH: An Immersive Middle School Dance/Carnival by Bare Portland  is paired with Birthwright Industries’ Annual Shareholders Meeting; A Celebration of the Entrepreneurial Spirit!.

At SPACE GALLERY

You will not need to show a PayPal receipt — just give your name to the box office volunteer and they will allow you to join the priority seating line.

If you do not show up by 5 minutes prior to the start time for your ticketed performance, PortFringe reserves the right to give your seat to a standby rush passholder.  Any questions can be directed to portfringe@gmail.com
