Health and safety policy

PortFringe is committed to the safety of our community (defined as staff, artists, volunteers & audience members). While we can’t predict the future, we can all work together and do our part to ensure our community’s health and safety. We encourage all of our community members to have up-to-date vaccinations, and we support the decision of our community members to wear masks at PortFringe events.

If you or anyone on your team is exposed to COVID or is feeling unwell during the PortFringe events, we require that you take all reasonable precautions to protect our community members, including but not limited to wearing a mask (including during your performance), limiting attendance at non-required events, and social distancing.

If you or anyone on your team tests positive for COVID leading up to or during PortFringe events, we expect that all CDC guidelines are followed and you are required to notify PortFringe immediately. If following the CDC guidelines impacts your eligibility to participate in the event, PortFringe will connect with you about possible opportunities for future participation or other financial considerations.

PortFringe reserves the right to require all community members to wear masks and/or to implement other additional COVID protocols based on public health conditions leading up to the event. Thank you for helping us keep our community of artists and audiences safe.
