Performance 6/13/26 – Portland Stage Storefront (aka TFK)

Liv Rocklin is a gutsy, multitalented performer who delivers big laughs with an unhinged charm. Her raw honesty, fearless delivery, and hilarious musical numbers will have you asking yourself, how can an obsessive, overt narcissist straight out of a Gen-Z remake of “Girls” be so lovable?

Liv takes the audience on a ride through her adolescence, with stops at the three major pop icons she envisioned herself embodying at the time. With a grandiose mentality fueling her many hubristic adventures, she sets out time and again, with stubborn determination to “win” at life. The great thing about Liv in An American (Not) In Paris is that she never fails. What we would constitute as failure, to her, is a weakness in character that she has overcome.

Liv’s performance is an endless delight. She dives headfirst into no-win situations, only to brilliantly engineer a triumph. Her form of self-aggrandizing humor, which belies its self-deprecating intention, is the secret to her winning comedy style and what allows the deeper story moments to ring true.

This is a hilarious, well-crafted show top to bottom, and should not be missed!
