Performance 6/14/26 – The Apohadion

Viscous and ponderous, Dead Brother, Will You Walk Through the Fire With Me moves between poetic dream conversations, reconstructed and imagined memories of lost loved ones, and stark police interrogation scenes. Glimpses of simple, youthful poetic love shine through, and I would have happily read those remembrances over and over in the moments when I needed reminding to keep going forward. As a show, it asks the audience to witness the narrator metabolize a grief so huge and personal it fills the room and settles heavily.

Performance 6/16/26 – The Apohadion

Jonny Bolduc’s metadrama is a visceral, unsettling, and unusually lyrical dissection of grief in the aftermath of loss. Part fever dream, part criminal investigation, part posthumous confessional, characters both dead and alive reconstruct the events leading up to and following a violent death, sweeping the audience into its looping purgatory of memory, survivors’ guilt, and the terrible nature of “moving on.” Bolduc asks us to stand inside the gaping maw of grief and be swallowed by it, to wade among the wreckage of what it means to remain.
