REVIEWS: Denial Is A Wonderful Thing

This show felt like slipping into some swanky martini bar, being handed a sidecar, and making eye contact with a fancy stranger. And then that fancy stranger lunges into their life story, and instead of being annoyed that you can’t finish your drink in silence, you’re SUPER into it. Christina commands her space in Denial with impressive charm and confidence, and offers you an unabashedly candid look into her verbal diary. It’s Eat Pray Love- if Eat Pray Love were penned underneath the haze of cigar smoke and whispered in a transatlantic accent.
