It’s April 1969, after the final dress rehearsal for Martha Graham’s 35th season opener at the City Center. Miki’s lesbian partner, the renowned lighting designer Jean Rosenthal, is dying of cancer. This will be their last project together and last chance to resolve their relationship in this searing look at love, life in the theater, and of course, light. Produced by Denise Poirier*, Portland, ME.
