I’m still stuck on the idea that if you shuffle a deck of 52 cards, the resulting card sequence might never have existed before. From there, the show reaches some ultimate heights in suspension of disbelief. I left reminded that there are more things in heaven & earth than are dreamt of in my philosophy, my Fringe friends. This show will test you.

Steven Nicholas was genuinely astonishing.
He wasn’t just doing tricks, what he was doing felt impossible.

Maybe I’m easily impressed, but my jaw was on the floor. Steven was uncovering incredibly personal details (names, places, and things he couldn’t have known) and he did it with such confidence and ease that the entire audience was left stunned.

Beyond the mind-reading itself, Steven is captivating. Charismatic, mysterious, magnetic, he held the room in the palm of his hand from start to finish.

Mind Reader was an experience.
If you get the chance to see it, go.
You’ll walk out questioning reality in the best possible way.

Steven only knows 7500 digits of Pi.  Or is it 75,000?  I can’t remember.  I get confused about the zeros.  But I am certain that if you asked him, Steven would know and could tell you all 7500 (or 75000) of them.

Mind Reader is a very fun show.  Steven Nicholas pulls the audience in even before he starts the official show.  Does he use sleight of hand? Probably.  Does he read the room to get the story to go where he wants it to go? Most likely. Did I have a fun time for the whole time I was there? Definitely. Would I go see it again? Sure I would.
