Does anyone sit through an entire baseball game anymore? I’m sure some people do, but in a world of increasing distraction and immediate gratification, it’s getting harder even for people who like the game. Hey Party People offers a series of comic vignettes that poke fun at baseball’s boring side, while also giving due to what true fans love about the game. The jokes themselves didn’t always bat 1000, but there were a fair proportion of hits. It is baseball, after all.

The Longest Baseball Game Ever Played by Greg Baker is a quick-fire collection of sketches showcasing the degradation of personkind over the course of a 46 yearlong baseball game. The show opens on a wooden reimagining of Abbott and Costello’s Who’s on First routine and devolves into simulated sex acts, Russian Roulette and a mascot with moves that brought levity to the otherwise perpetually elevated tone. If you love long form improv and Howard Stern this is your show.
