Headspace could easily be a TEDTalk if it were shorter. But Headspace is not a simple dress one would buy from a cheap chain store. Nay. It is a hand sewn ball gown, awaiting sequins. In this piece, our deft lecturer pulls us through how corporate capitalism has made us embrace banal silence and the status of getting along with everyone else. She pulls us through how “like” culture has made us dead inside. To counteract this, she implores us to complain. This complaining will open up our headspace…act as a release valve. And not just the complaining is needed, but actual human interaction…our stories, our fears, our loves, our peeves… So good. You need to get some headspace.
